At Harvest, we desire that Women be Women by Biblical definition. God has commissioned women with the privilege of overseeing the home, the teaching of children, and the teaching and disciplining of women in the Church. Our Women's Ministry seeks to develop women in their God given roles, living lives glorifying to the Lord.
Titus 2:3-5 states, Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.
Within small groups, specific events, and sessions, we seek to intentionally grow as women who crave Biblical direction, discipleship, and accountability through the direction of the Word of God.
Harvests Women's Ministry Schedule of Events:
WOMEN'S WEEKLY LIFE GROUP
Meets Wednesday mornings and is taught by Daisy Cox.
This year we are studying the book of James using curriculum by Susan Heck.
MONTHLY GATHERINGS
Meets one Saturday morning a month for a time of teaching, discussion, prayer and fellowship at the church office.
This year we are continuing in our studies on the Attributes of God.
